I chose to download the program, ImgBurn 2.5.8.0, from MG because of the following statement.
ImgBurn on MajorGeeks is a clean installer without OpenCandy distributed with permission.

However, when I run Windows Defender on the download, I get the following.
    PUABundler:Win32/CandyOpen

I'm wondering if the code for OpenCandy may still reside in the ImgBurn file, but has been disabled.

Does anyone have an opinion or insight into this?

    Thanks!

SOLVED: I went ahead and installed the program. During installation it didn't nag me to install any other crapware. Also, I don't believe it installed anything else, without asking. So, all is good!

Yeh, Open Candy bundles will install by default unless 'Unchecked' at the box on Install.
If you spotted this, your OK.

If unsure, any unwanted behavior from your device from here on, should be referred to our Malware Geeks over here!
