I have an old version of Spyware Blaster (3.4)

    1) Is it better to remove it through add/remove programs before installing 3.5.1 or is it best to install over the old one
or is it best to keep the old one until I know if the new one is going to work without problems?
I hate to fix things that are working.

    2) In the old version, it says ... oh ... I fixed it. (changed ActiveX settings in IE back to recommended)

    Thanks.
    :)

    hmmm ..
I went to add/remove programs and clicked remove on Spyware Blaster and it blipped and didn't go through any removal procedure, although it is now gone from the Add/Remove programs. However, it is still in its folder and on the desktop happily working. I opened it to turn it off, but there's no off button. Should I run one of the uninstall programs in the folder? unins000.dat or unins000.exe? Or is there a better way to uninstall it?
    Thanks!

unins000.exe would be my next option.
