Anyone have some good suggestions for good, reliable web hosting for a low price?

I am currently am using Ipower, and they dropped the ball on us pretty bad today, and we are up for renewal anyway.

3,000mb a month bandwidth, 500 email addresses, for 7.95 a month is what I currently pay. I'm looking for suggestions because we may switch today.

Looking for shared, I think. Dedicated is too expensive for a my wife's small business site.

Well, I'm still sticking with Ipower...bastards. Nearing 24 hours downtime on the site, email, and ftp with ETA on repair. They switched me over to another server, but until DNS is updated, NOTHING works lol...

Then there was the billing issue, my wife lost her credit card earlier this eyar and had it cancelled and re-issued, so we couldn't verify the card to them, so they wouldn't make the changes for us. Then, they asked for the email address on the account, and they had some totally bogus msn.com address (as if I would ever use msn.com for business). So, IMO, thats a security breach on their end, sending our account info to someone else!!

Took several hours of fighting to get that fixed...

Was going to transfer the domain, but that will take several days, too.

Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

www.fuitadnet.com , with a couple of caveats. Make sure you back up your data on a religious basis. I've been with them for over two years, and haven't had a lot of problems, though when you do have problems it can be a pain dealing with support. Many of their lower tier support people don't have a solid grasp on the language and you'll have to explain things multiple times. But really, you can't beat 2GB space/25GB transfer for $4.95/month. Their reseller program looks pretty reasonable too but I can't speak from experience on that. They have decent forums, though one of the mods there has a tendency to run her mouth waaaaaaay too much.

I use Omnis.com been very reliable and their support staff is quite good IMHO. If you decide to go with them let me know and I'll send you my referral code for you to use (it will give me $15 off of my bill if you are my referral). Good luck!
