Win 11, Quicken Deluxe, version R67.7.

Problem is it takes about a minute for it to respond when I first try to use it. Not a great problem, but welcome to a solution.

Example, log onto the desktop PC, try to use Quicken. It won't take any commands, i.e. mouse clicks from me until 20 seconds or so goes by. (I didn't time it). The data resides on its own USB SSD hard drive. I did have it on the main C: drive with the same symptoms so I tried the dedicated USB drive. Didn't change anything.

Anyone else have this minor problem?

Is it performing any kind of backup or syncing?
Disable cloud sync temporarily and test.
Choose File > Validate and Repair, as the data file could be corrupted.
I would switch back to an internal drive, as the USB is a greater bottleneck.
Whitelist the Quicken folder in your antivirus.

Try opening Task Manager during the startup of Quicken and observe where it's hitting the hardest.
