quicktime problems

    Anytime there is a quicktime video on a webpage all I see is the "Q" with a ? in the middle of it. Can anyone give me an Idea why this is and how to fix it.

    Well, first things first: do you have Quicktime installed?

    After installation is complete, it will likely want to run at startup; you'll need to disabled it at startup as it is not only unnecessary but a resource hog.

    Yes I have it. I downloaded from apples website after uninstalling and rebooting the version I had on here before. It was happening with that one also. I am running a PC 2.8GHZ pentium 4.

    I checked and Flash media was not checked.

    I downloaded the most up to date adobe flash player and that fixed it.
