Quicktime Uninstall

I have been attempting to update my i-tunes for a bit now, but I get a message that tells me it can not update Quicktime. I have tried removing Quicktime through the program and the control panel with no luck. How can I get rid of this and reinstall the program so that I can get my updates?

 

Have you tried manually updating to the latest quicktime player

there is even a version bundled with itunes

Not sure why you wouldnt be able to uninstal it
installing the latest version sounds like it will get you going

Does not work. It seems as though every time I attempt to do something with Quicktime, nothing happens. For example, I tried your link, it said that it would download automatically, yet nothing happened. The same the happens when I attempt to use the uninstall link or the control panel.
