Quinta Vale Da Mina '95 Vintage Porto

I love my Port wines. I really love my Ports in the winter. I got this one way back in the early summer as part of a bonus. Of course, being Fred_G, I opened it months ago. Now against all common sense, I am drinking some now. Nice Tawny Port... smoothe, with just a hint of raisens.

Wow, I thought Port only lasted a few weeks after opening the bottle. This stuff is still good after 3 months or more. Or perhaps I will be very sick Monday!:-D

 

Yep, they are sweet, and high octane! usually around 18% alcohol. Had some weird dreams last night! :-D I guess it is the higher alcohol %, but if I have a couple of glasses of port or a couple of high octane Belgian beers, I have crazy dreams. Fun though. :cool
