Quke with my friends?

    Me and some friends want to play quake, but when some one tries to make a game and we type the ip in it says "No Response".
    How can i fix this?

    which quake are you trying to play? my roomates and I just set up original Quake deathmatch to fool around with.

    How do you set it up?
    If it's LAN i cant do that..
    I need it to work over the internet.

    Unnamed, do you think you can try and make a server to see if i can join?
    Or me make a server and see if you can join?
