R.I.P. Arthur C. Clarke

An author whose books gave me many hours of enjoyment.
Especially, 2001 A Space Odyssey - An iconic movie and screenplay.

We have lost a visionary.

Heard this not long ago. Thank you Arthur C. Clarke for entertaining me, for teaching me, and for inspiring me. You are not forgotten.


R.I.P. Sir Arthur Charles Clarke, (1917-2008).

 

There's Number 3. It's a very real pity. He gave us one of the most quoted phrases I've seen.

"Any sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic."

 

Roy Scheider, Gary Gygax, Arthur C Clarke...

It's going to be one of those years.

 

Always enjoyed reading his visionary books
Will be missed

 

All I'll say is thanks to Arthur for all those fantastic trips that he took me on. See ya.

 

He certainly opened up my eyes to the weird and wonderful.
