Radio stations - no sound

I just bought an SSD and did a clean install.
When I try to play radio stations, as I always have, the commercial comes on, but nothing else.

I have tried three different radio stations to rule out any particular station problem.
(The stations are all local : KNX1070, ESPN, etc)

I can play any radio station on other computers as well.

When I boot, this picture comes up - don't know where it came from, but I think it is blocking entry.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Do you get the Windows start-up sound and/or can you play music thru Windows Media Player?

If there's no sound at all, go to the PC or Motherboard mfr's website and download the correct sound driver. On a fresh install, Windows will sometimes load a generic hi-def audio driver that doesn't work with all audio chipsets.

    Hope this helps. :)

I have sound from everything else : Media player, vids on CBS main page, etc.

The only sound missing is on these radio stations which all worked previously.

When launching the radio sites. the commercial intro plays, then nothing.

Can you see if you can hear KNX1070 on your computer?
You can access it on the CBS main page.

I can hear it on my PC.

Other than what I posted, I'm out of ideas. Anyone else out there have a thought?

    Thanks for reply.
I know it is a setting - just don't know what.

As I said, before I installed the SSD, I could hear it with the same Windows 7 on my HDD.

Strangest thing - I think Java had something to do with it.
After clicking enable - twice -
    it is now fine.:wave

    Finally figured it out.

I thought the firewall was blocking the sound, so I disabled it to check - same problem.

I then went into firewall settings, and physically added the URL and That made it work.

This might help any others with the same problem.
