That's the title of an article at:

    http://www.technologyreview.com/articles/04/12/wo_delio122404.asp?p=0

This is about people who've gotten so po'd at their computers that they've resorted to VIOLENCE! *L* (I must admit there've been a few times when I've fantasized about opening the 2nd story window in my computer room and tossing the whole mess out to crash on the driveway below!)

My two favorite instances recounted on the site are: (comments below in brackets [ ] are mine):

    1) "Struck mid-size tower with car going 25mph, propelling it 15-20 feet forward. This causes damage to car but troublesome DVD drive finally ejected jammed disc upon contact with pavement. [Can't wait 'til I see a cry for help here at MajorGeeks about getting a DVD out of a drive that won't open! *LMAO* ] Still worked but HDD reported errors [Really?!! *L*], and case wasn't attractive [no comment!]. Sold on eBay (with new case and HDD). Beware of this computer if you find it on eBay."

    2) "Ontrack Data Recovery agrees that the holidays are an especially dangerous time for computers, but notes that technology is never really safe from the wrath or reckless whims of their owners. Last year the company was asked to restore data from a laptop whose owner had placed the machine in the toilet and then flushed several times...."

I did a search before posting this here in case someone else had already put it up but got no results when searching for "computer snuff films"! Please, before you zap this post, understand that the films mentioned in the article at the site above are films of violent acts against computers and computer devices (barbequed mice anyone?!).

Hey, those weblowitup.com guys are in my home state of Michigan. Guess they have to keep in practice when it's not deer hunting season! *L* Downloaded their sample video -- great link! Thanks!
