Raid installation

Hello,

I hope someone can answer this question.

We recently took delivery of a Dell Power Edge SC440 Server with two identical 80gb SATA Drives (7200 rpm 3.5in).

We are running Microsoft Small Business Server R2 2003 Standard.

Frankly we thought we had ordered a machine with RAID 1 installed but that is not the case.

We want to install a raid card to run RAID 1

We are considering a Promise card

The server is already in service but the second drive is not yet in use although it is partitioned and formatted.

The question is....

Can we install the card without reinstalling the operating system? I suspect not, but does anyone know diferent?
