Can someone plz tell me how, if I'm able to at all, to change my RAM CAS settings? I am playing World of Warcraft and suffering form horrible crashes. One of the fixes that has workd for some is to change the RAM latency from 3.0 CAS to 2.5 CAS. I have looked around in my setup which I think is my BIOS settings but I see nothing having to do with RAM latency. I have flashed my BIOS with the new BIOS form ASUS but I still get the crashes My specs are as follows:

    Manufacture: Alienware
    Model: Area-51
    Mobo: ASUS P4T533-3
    Processor: Intel P4 2.53 533 FSB
RAM 2x256mb sticks of Kingston PC-1066 RDRAM / 2x256mb sticks Samsung PC-1066 RDRAM
GFX Card: ATI RAEDON 9700 PRO 128 DDR
HD: Western Digital 80 GB (recently replaced because last one died)
Sound card: Sound Blaster Audigy w/1394
Network card: Intel PRO/1000 MT GIGABIT Desktop adapter
    Plextor Plexwriter 40/12/40 CDR-W

I recommend calling your manufactor for support, they should be able to help you change the cas settings.

changing the latencies is usually in advanced chipset properties...although it's usually best to set it to SPD controlled if you're having problems

also tell us more about wow crashing, someone here should have the answer
