Ram compatable?

I have a 965P -DS3 from gigabyte with one gig of Adata ddr2 667, i want to upgrade it to this

google results show that these work with my motherboard, but on gigabytes own list this model is not supported. google result also shows that some people have problem running this ram cuz of some voltage problem. Can any one give me some heads up about this??? Becuase i can always buy this

what you need to look for is ram that is 1.8 volt I have the same board and this is stated on newegg
Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets
the first ram you chose under specs is 1.9v the second is 2.0 volts

the OCZ gold one i know will work (or gigabyte has false advertising)

My friend has 2 gigs of tracers from crucial and they do work like magic but the ocz deal is just too sweet to pass up

 

if it works post here for me and I may try some 800 ram
just make sure that once installed that you check bios to make sure voltage is at 1.9
