RAM crash to desktop

    Today I installed a 512mb stick of ram into my computer to up my computer to 1gig. It makes games run fast and smooth and maps load up 30 times quicker. the only prob. is that i can only play for about 5 min before it crashes to the desktop. someone said to increase the ram voltage to 2.6 but i dont know how to do that. :confused:

    your ram might be defective; i would see if the new ram runs fine alone on your system if it crashes again it means the ram came bad from mfg; i had this same issue
