i have right now in my pc two 256mb sd ddr ram modules pc 2100. I was given a 512mb sd ram pc 133. I want to know will the 512mb ram module work if i put it in my pc even though it is just sd ram and not ddr sd ram.

Most likely not. Even the slots on motherboard are different for DDR and old SDRAM I think.

No as they will not fit your Motherboard, different seating

SDRAM for a desktop computer has two notches in the side that goes into the memory slot, while DDR SDRAM only has one. In addition to that, they process data so completely differently that even if it would fit, the part wouldn't actually work. In fact, it could cause serious damage.

Hope that cleared things up. :)
