ram question

    i have a compaq evo d5pm desktop it has ktc-en133/256 ram in it I have a laptop ram that is pc133/512 will the laptop ram fit and work in the desktop. a guy on craigslist said it would but im not sure and dont want to mess anything up. I bought the memory for my laptop. if it wont work what kind will thanks. just wondering thanks Bobby

    Desktop Ram and Laptop Ram will not be compatible. They may be the same speed but the dimensions and the connections will be different.
