Ok, I want to upgrade the Ram in my computer I found this deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184 but heres what I dont understand. What if the speed of the ram is faster than the speed of my computer? will it still work with no problems, and just run at the speed suported? Or is it Incompatible?

Go to http://www.crucial.com/# to scan your system and/or use their Advisor Tool. They will give you the exact info what your machine needs. Just know that if you have a 32 bit OS your machine won't read more than about 3.2 GB.

Since you don't need to purchase from Crucial, jot down all the info that Crucial provides.

The faster RAM will just slow down to your system's clock rate as long as it's compatible with your motherboard.

Wow, that is a good deal!
