RAM Question

    hey guys,
    this was posted by sach2 on another post and i was wonderin what this exactly does:
    (It seems it is not entirely dead. Try disconnecting the HD(s) and CDROM(s). Have the keyboard connected. Then you can try to boot with just one RAM module at a time. If two different modules don't work in the first slot then try each module in the second slot.)

    Or, to be more precise: by suggesting not only swapping modules but also swapping slots, he's troubleshooting the RAM modules as well as the motherboard memory slots.
