RAM Question

    My friend is getting more RAM and he wants to know which is better, 2 256 sticks, or 1 512 stick.

    Well the 512 stick would be better thats unless he has a dual channel mother board than 2 256mb sticks would be better. Also with future upgrades the 512 mb stick takes up less room. Go with the 512 stick :).

    No clue man but I just covered all the bases just in case since there's well dual channel and the other. It's all good. What is this person's motherboard?? What ace said ;).

    It's not a dual-channel, so he decided to go with the 1 stick of 512 meg RAM.
