Ramboost from flash memory for XP

Is there a program that can allocate your flash memory (up to 4gb) to boost your RAM.
Windows7 has a program that does this, so can there be a program that does the same thing for XP?

Hi

Did read about this one a while back eboostr (not tried it as I use Vista and Win7), its a retail app at $30-ish and off hand not seen a free similar app. This app is not exactly what Readyboost does, more caches up the pagefile, and depending on the qulaity of your flashdrive and its speed then you may or may not see a benefit.

Readyboost in Vista and Win7 is not a massive performance boost as many may think it is, it will definatly help machines with limted ram but in the end it cannot replace getting extra physical ram.

And how much RAM do you presently have? I assume XP with SP3? What performance issues are you experiencing, that I assume you're trying to address.
I know, that's two assumptions too many.

I have a pentium4 with only 512mb RAM. My brother got a new computer with Windows7 and when I saw the RAM boost from flash memory, (an idea I thought of 5 years ago) so I wanted to know if there was a program for XP!!!

512M is a bit low for XP SP3. A gig would be a lot better.

I have found autoruns to be the biggest single culprit in slow performance.:wave
