I have downloaded the majorgeeks ramdisk, and read the manual, but cant understand a word of it!

I need to have a few folders put into it on startup, and then have them run.

I have a 1gig ramdisk, and want to put dragon naturally speaking on it, as well as a few poker programs that i use

    How do i do this?

    All help much appreciated!

:confused What do you mean with this statement? Does this mean you have set up a 1gb RAMdisk using the program called "RAMdisk" (link http://www.majorgeeks.com/RAMDisk_XP_d271.html)? Or are you referring to a physical device; a 1gb USB device like a thumb drive or flash drive? If you can clarify this, maybe I can help....
    Thanks

OK. I used confused by the way the sentence was worded. My bad  I personally haven't used RAMdisk, but I'm pretty good at figuring this stuff out, so give me a little time, and I'll see what I can do. ;)

I looked over than manual, and it's all very straight-forward. The tabs labeled "Advanced" and "Usage" can probably left alone, so don't worry about those two things. If you just slowly read the descriptios of the "Settings" tab, and the "Load and Save" tab, you should have no trouble setting up your 1gb RAMDisk to start up with Windows. Once the RAMDisk is set up and formatted, it will appear in My Computer just like any other drive would. You can then install programs to it, copy folders to it, and so on. Once you have some data on the RAMDisk, you need to save it as an .img file on your hard drive so it can be loaded into memory (and therefore into the RAMDisk) when the PC is booted up. If you have specific questions you'd like to ask, I'm sure I can help. And if not me, then someone else here at MG probably can. The company that makes RAMDisk has a support email address (listed at this link http://www.cenatek.com/contact_us.php) and they will help also.
    Good luck!
