Ran Hijackthis Need Logfile Help

    does anyone see anything wrong with this file? there are all kinds of weird things happening with this computer> like i can"t copy paste> or make a period>




    i think i was able attach the file but not sure if anyone can read it>

    Trying to work through prework but can't

    i am trying to read through and do the prework before posting questions but I can't seem to do some of it and don't know why. I went down the the list of programs to remove and only found one on the list it was View Point Media Player. The next step for me is to remove antivirus software to only have one. There are:

    Norton Antivirus 2005 (Symantec Corporation)
    Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition

    I need to keep the corporate Edition one and it is not allowing me to remove the other. I click on the remove button and it does nothing. The other came with the computer and I don't want it.

    There are a multitude of issues with this computer and I am trying to figure out what is wrong. For example, one anoying problem is everytime I click on a website link it opens a new window. I also have weird clicking problems. Oh ya I also can't do ctrl alt del to get to the Task Manager.

    Yes! It should not have been posted until you did the below. And note HijackThis is installed incorrectly too. But also note, that I doubt your problems are due to malware.

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


    When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis

    You only have one antivirus application! Just skip step 3.

    Thanks. I didn't realize the first thread had posted. Then I saw the Read Me Before posting thing you have below. Thanks for putting them together.

    This past 15 minutes I have been able to function around the computer as normal for some reason. I can also click normally so it makes it alot easier to follow instructions. I will be working at this a little at time. Maybe tomorrow evening I can start downloading all the tools stuff. Hopefully the PC will cooperate.

    You don't need to run those steps if you are not having any malware problems. The issues you posted in you first message do not sound like malware to me. So it's up to you what you want to do. However running those steps will at least let you know whether you are malware free. A HijackThis log does not do that. HJT logs show very little of the malware world.

    problems are back full force this morning>

    if not virus or malware what else do you think it could be>

    i run adaware and tuneup two thousand six (sorry no numbers) regularly>

    clicking is the biggest problems to deal with>

    All I can suggest at this point is that you run all of what I gave you in message number 3.

    Other than that I would check out your keyboard (and any associated drivers) to make sure it is okay but this would be a Hardware Forum issue if you continue in the direction of this last suggestion.

    And note the below is not a problem, it is probably how your browser is configured:
