Attached are copies of Malware Bytes log, and MG tools log, and Trend Micro HJT log; as Kaspersky, Super anti spyware and Spybot S&D came up empty first.........Symptoms before removal: long shut down and boot up, area connection icon continuously intermittant flashing (led to suspicion of trojan/keylogger "communicating"to someone), and attempting to play any videos through WMP 11 freezes and locks up PC (videos that previously worked)
Post cleaning: all symptoms gone but last one....can't seem to play any videos???
    Your help/input is appreciated

We did not ask for this HJT log. We need the logs from the below that we asked for whether they find anything or not as stated in the READ & RUN ME.
    • SUPERAntiSpyware
    • ComboFix
    • RootRepeal
In additon, you are almost 7 months out of date with your copy of MGtools. You need to run what was given in the READ & RUN ME and attach a new log from it. Save it to the correct location this time which is C:\MGtools Do not save it like you did last time which was here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Desktop\PRODUCTIVITY\geeks cleaners\MGtools.exe

Not part of our procedure anyway.

Probably not a malware issue anyway.

Things like the below are one of the largest causes of malware problems.
    C:\Program Files\Investintech.com Inc\Able2Doc 4.0\keygen.exe (Malware.Packer)
    C:\Program Files\WinZip\WinZip.PRO.V10+ Keygen\tmg-WinZip10 Keygen.exe

You need to remove all this junk from your PC and stop downloading them. In additon, if any of this cracked software is installed already, you need to uninstall it or you may continue to have problems with your PC.

Based on your logs, it does not look like you are having malware problems and you should look into posting in the Software Forum.

I do however questions what the below files are for. Do you know?
    Code:
    "C:\WINDOWS\"
    is-h4lr9.exe Jul 24 2009 687104 "is-H4LR9.exe"
    is-h4lr9.lst Jul 24 2009 460 "is-H4LR9.lst"
    is-h4lr9.msg Jul 24 2009 10498 "is-H4LR9.msg"

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    3. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    7. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    8. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
