This time I'm working on my son's laptop. I ran read and run except SuperAntiSpyware because it would not install even as admin in safe mode. It gave me the following message every time I tried the install "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation." My other logs are attached. Please advise and thank you for your help.

Since you are running Win XP Pro, let's check to see if a policy has been created to block this.
    1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
    2. Select the Run... icon.
    3. Type gpedit.msc in the "Open:" box and then click "OK" to open the Group Policy editor.
    4. In the left-hand pane, select Computer Configuration and expand it by click the plus sign to the left if it is not already expanded.
    5. Now select and expand the Administrative Templates
    6. Now select and expand the Windows Components
    7. Now select Windows Installer found under this Windows Components area.
    8. In the right window pane, locate and right-click the item Disable Windows Installer in the list. Select Properties from the menu.
    9. Make sure that, under the Setting tab that Disable Windows Installer is set to either Not Configured or Disabled.
    10. Click OK to save these settings
    11. Exit the Group Policy editor
See if you can install and run SUPERAntiSpyware now. If yes, attach the log.

I was actually able to install and run it after I ran everything else yesterday. The log is attached. Thanks so much.

Okay that's good. However, when you installed Digital DJ Pro 1.7.0, you put a ton of junk adware/malware on your PC. All of the below should be uninstalled immediately. The last is even considered dangerous.

    Digital DJ Pro 1.7.0
    Free Ride Games Player
    My.Freeze.com NetAssistant
    My.Freeze.com Toolbar
    The Weather Channel Desktop 6
    WeatherBug
    Wyeke 1.0 build 127

And you also need to uninstall Java(TM) 6 Update 3 as requested in the READ & RUN ME and update to the current version.

After doing the above, download the current version of MGtools and save it to your root folder. Overwrite your previous MGtools.exe file with this one.

Run MGtools.exe ( Note: If using Vista make sure UAC is still disabled. Also don't double click on it, use right click and select Run As Administrator )

    Now attach the below log:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!
