Apparently, it is at least in part a Malware issue as Kaspersky and SUPERAntiSpyware are finding trojans...I don't have the odd error on startup...finally! :D And another one was found in Algor(a 64 bit finite element analysis program). I have done two scans in a row and keep finding more. Seems like windows XP x64 has issues with trojans, and those trojans can be pretty nasty. :major

The Algor trojan was is a file c:\Algor\Match.exe

The 3rd SUPERAntiSpyware scan found this

    Summary : Trojan.Downloader-Gen/Win.Process

    Company : Unknown

    Description : Trojan.Downloader-Gen/Win.Process

    Threat Level (1-10) : 8
