Random Notepadding

Hi.

Every now and then, notepad keeps popping up and leaving me random messages. I sat and watched it for a while - it tends not to make sense with words and numbers mixed to make "sentences". Here is an example:

Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is a program running that is somehow streaming through notepad, else its a virus. I've done extensive google searching and found nothing helpful.

One last thing, sometimes when playing a certain game it pops up in the corner as a small one line message box with dots highlighted in it and a little cursor.
