Hi my PC reboots at random times, sometimes it boots again and again after the first time then it will boot normally and I can use the pc for a wile 30mins - 1 day.

It started yesterday but I went into safe mode and did a virus scan with Malwarebytes & it never found anything. It was fine after I came out of safe mode but it started again and now it works ok.

It's not from overheating I was using RealTemp 3.7 & the Temp never went over 45.

    OS : Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
    Processor : E7500
    RAM : 2GB
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-G41M ES2L ( Is what is printed on the board )
Graphics Card : NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

Any help would be appreciated. :)

    Thanks for the reply.

I done that, it does not reboot anymore it just shuts down & I have to use the power button to turn the pc back on.

I'll be buying new thermal paste on Monday just to rule out the cpu idk.

Could it be the RAM ?

    Heat, RAM or both.

I can keep it from shutting down fast by having notepad open with some text in it so I get time to click Cancel.

I'll try memtest later today & get the paste tomorrow.
