random restarts

ok this is not normal, i reconnected my hard drive after using another one (installed windows onto my friends new one as he can't do it) and then put mine back in. When i got to the xp logon screen i clicked my user name and was about to type my password when the computer restarted. Ok i thought to myself, bizarre. Then i managed to login after a 2nd attempt but about 2 minutes later after the system has recovered from a serious error message came up, it restarted again! i'm waiting for it to do it again as i'm sure there is something wrong!!!! any ideas anyone??!!!

 

Check your event log. Nothing else changed in the PC? Also, check your device manager and see if anything sticks out of the ordinary.
