    Yeah - Every hard times has it’s rapture story. If you listen to the right people, the end of times has been here for 2000 years. I would recommend that if that guy gave you Kool-Aid, not to drink it.

    Personally, I'll stick with the Mayans. Have a good 4 years.

    Well, back home is the HDTV that has instant replay, good camera angles, and easy access to the beer fridge. So no, I have never minded staying home to watch the game. If anything, I prefer it.

    Yep, the way I look at it, as stated somewhere in the Bible, I forget where, we have been in the 'end-times' since the crucifixion until whenever. Guess a lot like to think they have some kind of special knowledge and power.

    If anyone thinks the 'signs' are that the end is imminent because of war, crime, moral decadence, etc, that the world is getting worse every year, I'd say try living in medieval times, when the average life span was about 35, if you lived at all.

    People talk about scare tactics in relation to the media and government and how it keeps people in line, under their thumb, keeping that particular organization in power.

    Seems all bodies of power use those tactics. Sad if you ask me.
