Ok, new project...........I just bought a wireless pc to tv kit and it requires that I use RCA component hookups. I have an old Dell 470 computer that only has the VGA and DVI hookups. Here's my plan...........I found a DVI to RGB converter but the RCA hookups are Red, Blue, and Green. How do I convert them so signal the same as the Red, White, Yellow of the component system?:-o. I know the red on the RGB is compatible with the Red(right spkr) of the component, my dilema is that I'm never sure which is the White(left spkr) and which is the Yellow(video input). I know, I know, it's not that hard, but it drives me nuts. Anyone please?

That red, blue & green cable is still 'dvi' the colors correspond to RGB.
The are not composite or equal to yellow, red & white.

    Google Pc to TV converter.

Ok, can I add another video card with composite connectors and go that route? Would it interfere with the main video card?

    Here
    http://www.aitech.com/products/maxview.htm

Goes into the RGB video card and has a port to plug your RGB monitor cable & has a composite (yellow RCA) for output too.
It looks like the MaxView has an audio cable, if not ...

Then get a miniplug to RCA cable like
    http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3909621
plugged into the speaker out of your PC (green jack) or headset jack on your speakers, if they have one.

There you have Yellow, Red & White from your PC to you wireless transmitter.

    Hey Gaterader,

the RCA Yellow Red & White cable is a RG59 cable. The RGB is also a RG59 cable. The colors are negligable. The actual cable type is the same.

Using a DVI converter does not make a RG59 cable. If both ends are RCA plugs then yes he could use the cable for connecting two RCA components. But he said converter whichs lead me to believe both ends of that cable are not RCA plugs, since he stated the videocard had DVI & VGA.
