Does anyone use it?

It's not free like Pandora, but from what I can see on the free trial, you can play whatever you want.

Web streaming is $4.99/month.

Interesting app and I had not seen it until you posted this thread. I tend to pay the £70ish a year for unlimited music from Xbox Music as that satisfies my musical urges

The thing with streaming is and if you are using if for a portable device (like phone or tablet) is the data cost, if you do not have unlimited mobile data, could seriously affect a cloud based service, whereas Xbox music and iTunes you download and move the files to the device or if you need stream, but I download in general.

However that Rdio service looks a good alternative for those that do not wish to use iTunes or Xbox Music etc

 

You can pay $9.99 a month for unlimited streaming+offline, which I'm assuming means it's downloaded.

I'd do the cheapest initially to see if I would even use it.

Actually, looking at Xbox music, it looks like for the unlimited download and all that it's cheaper than Rdio at $100 a year.

 

Yes if they state offline then its downloading the music physically to your PC, which I feel is better than streaming.... IMHO.

Xbox Music I have had in its various guises (was Zune Music Pass for years) for now 4yrs and its perfect and has by all accounts a much larger music database than iTunes has, plus iTunes does not have a yearly subscription you pay per track or album and that's costly.

Xbox Music or Zune Music software is much easier to use IMHO than iTunes which is awful.
