    Hi

With the problem starting on a specific date, what new software or any updates to applications or drivers where installed, if known?

What I would try is the below to see if that resolves this or at leats points you in the general direction of a possible cause, many causes are 3rd party apps.

    1. What is your antivirus application (also list any other security apps installed on the PC)? but no matter what it is disable it to test.
    2. Update a few drivers, the particular ones are network and video to latest know versions.
    3. RDR errors or that STOP error can happen with low ram left for applications, but in an 8GB PC, I wouldnt have thought it would throw up that error, but disable as many un-needed background tasks to free up more ram, to test this, use if you can msconfig to disable all startups for the test.
    4. Check your ram for errors, test one stick at a time, memtest86+ is good.

Whats the service pack level of the WBS 2003 and is it currently fully upto date?
