    Not seeing alot to do at all, Carla.

    Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.


    Delete this if you see it:

    C:/Users/CRISTI~1/AppData/Local/Temp/FSP2CAD.tmp

    What problems remain?

    Thank you for your time.

    Just to confirm that I have now proceeded as advised.

    Although I could no longer find C:/Users/CRISTI~1/AppData/Local/Temp/FSP2CAD.tmp

    I can confirm that this PC is seemingly working fine now after those initial scans...I was concerned as it is connected to the other PC via a shared network, but it didn't appear to be experiencing the same problems as my main PC. The problems with this machine were never as severe as with the other one.

    In any scenario, there isn't much data on this machine, so I think I will do a full Windows 7 64bit reinstall when I get time.

    I think this thread can now be closed as resolved, while I focus on the other PC. Thanks again Kestrel13! ^^
