Re-installing Windows Stuck

All the info . . . .

Had some virus problems last Fall and malware removal created new problems on a Dell Mini 9. Didn't have any apps or files stored on the computer so I am finally doing a Windows 7 Starter reinstall. I have the OEM disks.

On the Installing Windows Screen, it has been stuck for one hour on the last step "Completing Installation." There appears to be no activity from the DVD drive or the computer.

Progress Bar appears to be at about 80% (no numbers given.) According to a tutorial I was watching, the next step should have been to give the computer a name & password.

When I started, I selected installation to the largest of three partitions (not FAT, not Recovery) which was 14GB+. Program said everything in that partition would be overwritten and old data saved to a file.

How long should I wait? What should I do next? Thanks for your help!!

 

Finished installing after 2.5 hours....woohooo.
