Can you guys help me please?!?! I don't know whats going on with my computer!! When I play games like Sims it will play for about 10 mins and then just shut off. It doesnt restart it just turns off. Lately it's been doing it when I get on FB games too. I can sit on my computer all day surfing the internet with no problems but as soon as I play a game it's all over. I sent my computer back to the manufacturer (Gateway) and they said they replaced everything and found no problems, but then again when I got it back it wasn't put back together correctly and the problem is still there. When I called them back to tell them about the issue they informed me that my warranty was expired!! PLEASE HELP! :cry:cry:cry:cry

Hi

What Model Gateway PC do you have and is it Desktop or Laptop?

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

If you are not playing games does your PC work ok, as in say using internet or a office document?

If you open Device Manager do you have any yellow ! marks by any device and if so by what?

Also, wouldn't hurt to check your temps as computers have a tendency to shut off if they've over-heating to try to prevent damage being done to your hardware. And maybe get a can of compressed air and dust your PC.

Games like the sims 3 can have a hard impact on a weak computer. This has happened to me aswell on lower quality laptops
