Regarding the spyfalcon/spyquake removal thread:

I've attached my smitfiles. (I think)

Following the instructions, none of the 'dll' files were on my computer, and few files from the second list of files to delete were on my computer. I know I still have some form of bad spyware, as spyware doctor is still detecting 'trojan.popuper'. Can anyone help me in getting rid of it?

Welcome to Majorgeeks!

I had been working on adding the form of Smitfraud (aka SpyFalcon etc) that you have to the procedure. I just posted the update now. You need to run the procedure again and make sure you download the fixquake.reg patch again because it has been changed to include your form of infection. Also the problem DLL you have has been added to the list. The DLL file is C:\WINDOWS\system32\wfkduei.dll

Attach a new smitfiles.txt log when finished and make sure you tell me how things are working now.

The mysterious 'virus alert' on my task bar has gone, and spyware doctor has seemingly managed to delete the previously undeletable bit of spyware

You're welcome! SpywareDoctor did not delete it, the SpywareQuake & SpyFalcon removal procedure did.
