    This had been happening to me in windows 7 ive erased everything in my hard drive bcoz its having a BSOD then after i tried to reformat it a box with winsetup.dll is corrupted appeared. I have a new dvd rom so it can be ruled out, do I have a faulty installer or a banged up hdd? The installer is new since i bought it the same day with the dvd rom. All the hardware is new except for the hdd which an original part of my older build. Pls help me :cry

    Can you put the HDD in another computer as a slave drive and run chkdsk on it to see if it produces any errors?
