My computer stalls and freezes with Malwarebytes and Roguekiller before scan is over and will not run Bitdefender at all. What now? AVG doesn't detect any problems.

What are you trying to solve?

You should resist running 2 or more AV's together.

    AVG can be very jealous!

I really didn't give you anything to go on, did I? I wasn't running 2 at once but tried and removed several. Something on this machine won't Malwarebytes, Comodo, Bitdefender and several others run. Bitdefender installer will not even open. For a while chrome wouldn't open either but seems to be ok today. I started looking because something is randomly using resources and making things laggy.

How many AVs do you have? o_O

Only AVG. The others I tried but only one at a time.

Have you uninstalled the other AVs with the uninstallers provided by the publishers?

There are three other scanners we request you run as part of the R & R Me FIRST guide. Analyzing those logs and from possible additional tools such as Zemana AntiMalware Free or Farbar Recovery Scan Tool is what's needed to locate malware or leftover registry keys, Tasks, or Services.

Farbar and ADWcleaner both ran;, Zemana and Roguekiller both stalled. Hitman found no problems.

Here are the logs from the programs that worked.

I've found nothing else in those logs to remove. It is not uncommon for an occasional malware to prevent a scanner or two from running. *Comodo CIS and AVAST Software/AVG are still running. Since you ran AdwCleaner multiple times, I don't know what was detected. If you wish, you could run this online scanner as a last step; otherwise we are finished here.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it - just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista or Win 7/8/10, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Thanks for looking. I just noticed a word missing from my second post. It should read Something on this machine won't let Malwarebytes, Comodo, Bitdefender and several others run - they all stall part way through and the computer freezes. Bitdefender installer will not even open. After all this, those still don't finish and Eset did the same thing, stalled at 18%.

Have you ran the System File Checker?

Doc says your clean so its got to be a system software inhibition.
If SFC works out, you should test for a repeat of this issue in 'Safe-Mode' with networking!

I would uninstall my entire security suite via the supplied uninstallers, run a file/reg clean through CC, then attempt to build again in Safe-Mode until issues arise again....then you should have your suspect in custody?
Your logs on running apps might tell a tale too!
Whats running in the background and on start-up?
