Read/Run Failed...

Hey guys,
Love your forum and have used your Read/Run procedure many times with superior success. This time, however, is different. My mothers computer started blue screening with no apparent reason. this is her setup:

Dell Inspiron 1525
Windows Vista Home Premium SP1

The first scan using SAS failed. The scan stopped while it was scanning c:\windows\system32\ntmarta.dll. The scan had stopped for some time when it blue screened, but I did not catch the time on the scan.

I followed the SAS instructions for when SAS blue screened and ran the scan again. The scan again stopped on the same file. The elapsed time continued to count up until 36:39, when the program seemed to freeze. I restarted the computer and looked for a log, but there was none.

I did not want to continue the Read/Run instructions without completing the SAS step. Does anyone have any help?

How likely is this blue screen the same as the blue screen that my mom was seeing?

I think your best bet would be to try and post in the Software Forum, to find out more about why you are getting BSODs. If possible please try to post the exact word for word error that you are getting, and event viewer log.
