READ & RUN ME FIRST attempt for Rapid Antivirus NOT WORKING

So i went through the steps of the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide on my XP machine and could go no further as all the programs listed on the Cleaning Procedures (superantivirus, malwarebytes, spybot, dont install or installed but do not launch). Was moving on to the Combofix process but forgot to get the Windows Recovery Console.

As of now my comp is still acting up, SUPER SLOW startup, false warnings, blue screen and windows startup with "unregistered rapid antivirus" warning at bottom and my browser hijacked as i cant do searches (results appear but lead to fake sites) the only way i can surf is to enter the exact URL (except forums or anything that could serve as a possible helpful site)

Uninstalled the older version of JAVA (as instructed) and tried installing the new version but it wouldnt complete, gave me "ERROR 25099 Unzipping Core Files Failed". So im scared to even try to browse now.

My question is where do i go from here, i have no logs to provide as all the programs wont work. Whats my next step if any. Is there a point to running the Combofix once i get the Windows Recovery Console (then again i do have the red Dell supplied Windows OS disk, is that enough?)

Alot of people on the forums seem to be having the same issues as i do but dont mention it by name, its Rapid Antivirus, it leaves Gay Fetish and BDSM porn icons on your desktop.

In closing I:
-Started the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide but came to standstill as all of the programs in the Cleaning Procedures don't run, even with the manual updates.

-Browser is hijacked, searches lead to legit results but fake links, AND i have no JAVA as i removed the old version but installing the new version gives ERRORS.

(this all occured from my sister visiting a music lyrics site, it was noticed minutes after her being on it, i ran all the steps under her account, was that the correct thing to do?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i know worse case i can reinstall windows? but would just like to nip it as easily as possible. At the very least get my browser back. Appreciate the help.

 

yeah, my bad for not running MGtools but i thought ALL logs were needed (which all the other programs couldnt give me) so i didn't even bother. Lesson learned.
