Read & Run Me vs. Windows installer not working

Hi, guys.

First off, let me tell you how much I love this forum, and how many times I have come here to search for answers and found them. You are great!

Here's the issue: my wireless has been totally killed (or I killed it), and I am trying to find out why. So, in running the READ & RUN ME 1st instructions (because a few other weird things have happened as well), I have run into the issue that my Windows Installer isn't working. So, I have not been able to remove my Sun Java and install the one you request, and I can't install SuperAntiSpyware because it uses the installer.

I read the thread about uninstalling SP3 and attempting to reinstall Installer, but I have already run CCleaner and I am concerned that doing this will make the CCleaner log invalid.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

 

Never mind. I did a little research and re-registered the Windows Installer file. Seems to have worked.
