Hey I've tried to use a few free video convertors to convert some .rm files and some .M4V files. The .rm files didn't work because I don't have Real Media Player installed and the program needs those drivers to make the conversion. The problem is that i need to convert the files because I don't have the player and don't want to install it.(i've read on these forums that Real Player is a spyware nightmare and find my system more stable without it) The M4V converter didn't work either, I know I can't upgrade to the latest quicktime 'cause I'm on Win98SE.

Does anyone know of any converter's I can use that will work even if i don't have the latest Quicktime or Real media drivers installed? Or a way to play .M4V or .rm files without RealMedia Player or only Quick Time 6.3 on Win98SE? Oh and also MP4...

    Robert.
