Really bad spyware problems

Whenever I open my internet browser I get a link for 'TopNetSearch' or one warning me about spyware (funny how its spyware warning me about spyware). I've tried to change my homepage but it will not work. I think this spyware is also messing with other programs I have installed (like instant messenger). My computer is also more noticeably sluggish. Everything that I do on my computer, from playing games to viewing websites, is now a hassle.

I've tried scanning with several problems: Ad-Aware, Mcafee, and some others. The programs say they detect something, I delete it, and it doesn't correct the problem. I've also tried a system restore and it didn't correct the problem.

Other spyware problems I've had in the past were easy to handle, but this is so bad I have come here for assistance. Any help would be appreciated. I've never experienced a problem like this before.

Do not copy and paste logs into your posts; always include logs as attachments.

You have HijackThis installed incorrectly, and you are running it from the zip file. Install HijackThis to C:\HJT.

You have not completed our standard clean procedures.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

Every time I try to reinstall HijackThis it gives me winzip or winrar. I have looked all over, including this site, and I can't find it as a file that I can install into C:\HJT directory. Please give me assistance because I am not that computer savvy.
