Realtek 8168/8111 Driver

I recently reinstalled my operating system (Windows XP Home Edition) and have been looking all over for this driver, to no avail. Every download I find points me to the Realtek website, where I am given the same message everytime: the file is no longer there.

Could anybody help me out?

I have an XP media center laptop 2005, i recently purchased Driver Detective, it updated my realtec driver with no problem, also updated at least 20 others with no issues, it's hassel free alternative then trying to find them on your own, the program asks you for your computer manufacturer and model number in order to identify the specific drivers for your machine.

IMO Driver Detective is borderline malware, and they charge to update drivers which anyone with 5 minutes of time can do for free. I strongly recommend that you stay away from it, but the choice is yours. Anyway, to download your driver, simply click on this direct link.

Yea, I saw Driver Detective and since it cost money I didn't bother with it. It was useful at least for showing me which drivers are out of date and which ones are missing completely.
