i thought that, but i think the problem is the memory. i dont really know if the board can damage my DDR, because i had a 256 DDR and after i bought this board it only worked for 1 day, so i bought this one (512 DDR pc2100 266).

Can the bios configuration damage RAm ?

Pc2100 will work with your board but the ram you have now is defective and was probly made that way, I would buy a better brand like Corsair or Kingston and you will be ok.

No and the board can't either, the only thing that can is if you don't discharge static electicity from yourself and touch the ram or if you have a faulty psu.

What psu do you have the KV7 is pretty particular about a psu

You discharge by touching a metal object such as the case, you should never touch any computer component without touching the case first.

That psu is cheap, the KV7 must have a quality power supply as it needs stable voltages and high amp ratings on the +3.3 and +5 volt rails, and a minimum of 400 watts. I would get Antec true 430w or another name brand psu.

okey, i will change the psu to a better one. but... you think that my Psu can cause any damage to my board?

Its possible it damaged the ram if you got errors when running memtest so that would have to be replaced to.

I would change to a better psu and if the ram showed errors I would change that to, should solve your problem.
