Rebooting laptop w/ keyboard+mouse probs

I have been trying to get my laptop fixed for over a week now, but haven't yet succeeded. There are 3 main problems:
It reboots itself regardless of the program that's running (also in Safe mode)
The keyboard sometimes seems to get "hijacked", typing totally the wrong keys (not always the same wrong ones) or will not respond at all
The mouse pointer jumps all over the screen making it hard to select anything

Sometimes on a reboot (of which there are many) the screen stays blank and I end up having to switch it off and hope that it will work on the next try. It is very frustrating!

I'm attaching the log files from the various diagnostics I have run.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

You only have a few minor things to resolve in the malware area. None of the problems you mentioned actually sound like malware issues. I would say you are having hardware or driver issues which you may want to discuss in the Hardware Forum. If your mouse is an external mouse, clean it or try a different one or just use the built-in mouse of your laptop.

Note that you did not install and rename HijackThis as we requested, but right now it does not matter much since we don't need it. You also installed CounterSpy in a very bad place. Never install programs like this. You installed it to your Desktop. You should always use the recommended installation folder which is normally an appropriately named folder under the C:\Program Files folder.

Are SpywareDoctor and SpySweeper free trials?? Looks like they were both installed on Oct 18th so I would guess that they are. Uninstall them since they are not of much use after the trial period and will just slow your PC down and conflict with each other. You can also uninstall CounterSpy now since you already ran the scan.

I would seriously recommend reconsidering whether you really need Hitman Pro when you can do the scans yourself anyway.

Here are the only things you need to do and as I said above, they will not fix your problems.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6

Now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Delete the below folders and anything in them!
    C:\Program Files\FileSubmit
    c:\program files\quickbar
    C:\WINDOWS\isrvs

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. I have taken the steps above to solve the minor malware problems, and will bear in mind what you say regarding program installations for the future! I will also set up a thread in the Hardware forum and hopefully someone there will be able to help further.
