Basically I'm rebuilding my mining rig after the previous build wouldn't boot after having been put in storage for a time during renovations. No matter, it was an ancient Phenom II CPU and it was expected that something might eventually fail.

So I got the new rig on the Asrock B450 pro4, a single DDR4 4gb stick and an Athlon 200G for CPU. It boots fine, I can get in bios on the iGPU no problem.

But then soon as I boot with even a single Radeon VII plugged into the mobo, I'm not getting any video out on the iGPU. I don't want to go fetch a better monitor with HDMI or DP in, so I want to keep using the VGA out on the iGPU.

In the BIOS I eventually found the integrated display adapter's options and saw "Auto", "Forces" or "Disabled". I set it on Forces. Was that wrong?

    Thankful for any help...
