Receiver Says, Duplicate E-Mails Being Sent

Hi!

I wasn't aware of this problem until it was brought to my attention. It looked ok on my end, I never had a clue! lol

I sent some pictures through e-mail, but the receiver said that he's receiving the same e-mail twice. This happens everytime I send an e-mail that includes pictures.

I opened My Pictures, selected the pictures that I wanted to send, and chose "e-mail this file" from the left hand side menu. XP says that it will "automatically resize" the pictures to fit in the e-mail. I use Outlook Express 6.

Is there a setting somewhere that will stop the receiver from getting the same e-mail twice?

Actually if the reciever never complety finishs downloading his email, it will repeat messages. How pop mail generally works is, client (outlook express usually) says to the mail server i need some email, mail servers says i have 5 messages, pop client says send the first one, then the next until the end, then after all 5 (or however many come in) ok client says im done please delete those off the server. Now if this gets interrupted in the middle, it never delets those from the server and starts over. I have seen this were people have had similar problems, so first lets find out what mail client he is using.

The receiver (my Dad) and I have almost identical systems, except he's in another city an hour away. We both have Outlook Express 6, Sympatico High Speed, and Windows XP Home.

don't spend all the photos with one email, just two or three
