Kind of like to chill and admire some favorite art on the Deviantart website, thought I'd make a folder for storing the saved pictures, but there's several gifs I want to save as well. I already tried the default image-save and it didn't capture the whole gif lol.

Did a search on gif download on this site and did find the SSuite Office with its Gif Animator, but being a bit lazy, I'd rather have a software capture the gif. If it comes to it, sure, i'll be doing a lot of timing and saving pics to recreate the gif using SSuite--just wanted to double check with the geeks here.

Any image you see on your screen will download to the temporary internet files folder.
Locate that folder (it's hidden) and search for *.gif.

The problem is most likely with what you are using to view the animated GIF. For Vista, 7 , 8+ Windows Photo Viewer will only show the first frame.
Try viewing one of the saved GIFs with Internet Explorer.

Did a check, it doesn't seem my 8.1 OS automatically saves gifs to the file location you suggested. Found the .gif files play properly by IE, so problem solved. Thanks!
